These two amazing humans are from completely different continents, grew up in different cultures, thousands of miles apart and somehow, someway still found their way to each other.

My heart absolutely explodes writing about Kristen and her sweet family. We go waaay back. We met while we were both working for a non-profit in North Chicago.

Ever since Alana reached out to me through Instagram and told me their plans of a super chill summer elopement, I was stoked! And that’s exactly what we did.

They way that I’m STILL swooning over Alex and Anas’ dreamy fall wedding day. This Kenosha wedding definitely goes down as one of my favorite days ever!

Steph was getting proposed to and her boo thaaang!! And Paul was flying to Chicago from Portland to surprise her and propose at the Botanic Gardens!! GAHHHHH

Steph and Paul came back into town a few months later for their actual engagement session. Can you imagine how excited I was when she told me they would be wearing a hanbok?
